Julie Kent Dipl. I.D. BIDA - Managing Director
Julie founded Julie Kent Interiors in 1980 following her interior design training in London at The Inchbald School of Design. After a brief spell as a freelance consultant, working for local developers and contractors, Julie launched her studio and showrooms in Bath. One of her first projects was Design Assistant at The Theatre Royal, Bath, in the same street. Julie soon headed a team of designers and sub-contractors, undertaking projects from private homes to show homes, offices, shops, restaurants and boutique hotels, specialises in period refurbishments around the West Country and London. Homes abroad have also included a family house in Washington a penthouse apartment in New York, USA and advice on chalets in Switzerland.
With over 26 years experience in the industry, Julie has built up a loyal team of builders, specialist trades and sub-contractors and suppliers of interior design furnishings from home accessories to kitchen and bathroom fittings.

Carly Bennett - Interior Designer
Carly studied Art & Design for over 4 years, firstly in Yorkshire and then onto Berkshire College of Art & Design in Maidenhead. Where she achieved a short-listing for an RSA Student Design Award in London. She then moved on to work for a leading London firm of Architects, based in their 'on-site' project office for the refurbishment of the prestigious Claridges Hotel in Mayfair.
Following this Carly then spent a period of time working in ´office interiors´ where she had the opportunity to work on large projects like the refurbishment of the Civil Aviation Authority Head Offices in London & East Midland Airports. Working on all aspects of the projects, from design/concept through to project coordination. She has gained over 12 years experience using Autocad, from domestic extensions to large office space planning & 3 dimensional layouts.
Jason Piper - Bookkeeper/Accountant
Jason Piper is our freelance company bookkeeper/accountant and additionally works with Julie and Carly on producing detailed budget analyses - from a simple show home to a whole renovation. The projects are monitored on spread sheets as the project progresses, from the initial budget costs through to the final invoicing, supervising the sub-contractors payments through to completion. Jason spent his first career in the Royal Air Force which included appointments as a Public Accounts Auditor and as a Unit Accounting Officer before becoming Air Attaché in the British Embassy in Oslo. On leaving the Royal Air Force, Jason utilised his vast accounting experience to gain full membership of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers by gaining a Distinction in their Diploma of Advanced Bookkeeping before starting his own practise.
